Hi, I'm Ray Gentry; this is my blog. Like any other personal blog, this is my outlet. But it is also very important to me that it be a forum. I certainly don't think that I have all (if any) of the answers, but God, faith and humanity are important. The only way I can make better sense of our crazy world if we have a discussion.

About Me

Two obvious things first; I have been both a guy and Lutheran as long as I can remember (anything before about five or six, I just have to take my parents word for). My wife and I live in South Dakota. I work a regular job and am the Worship Coordinator at First Lutheran Church in Brookings. I also like to fill into other ministry roles as needed in the church. I plan to attend seminary down the road and enjoy writing.

This blog is a way for me to toss out some of my thoughts and ideas while sustaining discussions I have in church, at the coffee shop or in the bar beyond those venues. Please use the comment sections and feel free to email me. Thanks for stopping by!
